Wonder if Arian will be back. Would sure be nice to have our full complement of weapons against these guys.

The 1-2 Texans travel to Atlanta this Sunday for an early game with the 3-0 Falcons. The Texans got their first win last week defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 19-9.

The Falcons won on the road last week beating the Dallas Cowboys 39-28.

TV = CBS (channel 11 local), noon CST, Sunday

Announcers = Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon

The line = Falcons by 6.5 to 7

Texans vs. Falcons will be viewed in all of Texas and most of the South minus Florida.

The X-man is expected to suit up and be available ? That's good news. Wonder if he starts or the new guy at LG they just picked and who played vs TB plays instead ?

Yep. First game this year that we'll be at full strength on the OL. Plus, we might have Foster back, at least in some capacity. Hopefully all of that equals a competitive output.

the new guy looked far better than X-man has ever looked. I would go with him and use Xman for depth

You've got Mercilus trying to cover a running back, Bouye on Julio Jones, the DEs are just running around on the edges not affecting anything... I just don't understand anything that Crennell is doing here. I don't understand how a defense that has had so much attention paid to it can suck so hard.

This is a terrible organization, terrible owner, clueless GM, no quarterback, everyone knows that. But how can you add three first round picks to last year's defense yet be worse? I don't understand.

The talent is there...they are just being out schemed...

Most disappointing part of this game to me has been the terrible play of our Oline, with the defensive PLAYCALLING making a strong case...

I don't think the OL play cracks the top ten of horrible things going on. Offensively the quarterback play is as bad as I have ever seen in the NFL. I have seen guys play more scared and I have seen guys who simply don't have the arm or the brain, but I have never seen someone so consistently inaccurate. He's not inaccurate because he's always being hurried, he's inaccurate because he sucks.

All I know is BOB has had two drafts and so far they are as bad as any of Kubiak's drafts. Or worse. This year both the offense and the defense have regressed. As have special teams.

I am officially off the BOBwagon, which sucks for me because he's not going anywhere.

I have never seen a backup quarterback come into a blowout to spell the star and play for more than a quarter. This is historically bad for an NFL team.

I completely agree... Mallet would be my number three. Consider though that we lead the league in DROPPED passes...***just as I say that Hoyer's first pass is dropped*** On top of that no one is getting open including HOPKINS. He throws the ball high and its bouncing off their hands into the air for an interception. So he throws low and starts bouncing the ball off the ground. You would think they would be used to his velocity by now.
This is not to diminish his inaccurate passes. Yes, he has some definite accuracy issues...


Overall, the blame goes everywhere. OLINE just stands out to me...they were getting blown up almost every play and opening NO holes all game.
