Here's hoping Schaub has a good game and protects the ball.

Let's have a full game something like first half against Seattle.

Build some consistency and confidence headed to playoffs.

My opinion, it could happen.

HPF Bob 10-02-2013 01:50 PM

Both teams have been a bit dysfunctional so far this season, causing some self-doubt. I think the SF defense is much better when Patrick Willis is playing. He'll be a big factor in stopping Foster/Tate.

The next question is whether the Texans try to make this a "statement game". They haven't had much success in those, especially on the road.

cadams 10-02-2013 02:57 PM

as long as they don't break out the letterman jackets i am fine with this being a statement game.

Arky 10-04-2013 01:26 PM

Per 610 radio, Cushing and D Brown ready to go....

nunusguy 10-05-2013 09:03 PM

God I hope I'm wrong, but I look for a real understated effort by the Texans tomorrow night in San Fran. Like I say, hope they fool me but after last Sundays
maximum effort against Seattle in a game which they should have clearly won I don't expect to see that same team take the field tomorrow night on the road on the west coast.

Why does Kubiak never defer after winning the toss? Most coaches defer. Sorry, just trying keep my mind off of our crap QB play.

Gotta love those Texans!! Giving away 10 points -- and counting...

Big Texas 10-06-2013 07:47 PM

Somebody please tell me both Shaub and Bullock are on their way out.

Nconroe 10-06-2013 07:48 PM

Great start, two penalties on OD moves us from 20 back to 35 and then hook FG from 45 yarder. Yikes. Still only getting started. Maybe defense can get points back.

The one thing AJ has never done well as a WR is draw PI calls.

On another note it has always amazed me this team never quit on Kubiak and/or Schaub, despite both spitting the bit in countless key situations. We may be seeing it tonight.

Does Schaub come back on the field?

Nconroe 10-06-2013 08:23 PM

We just might shoild give Schaub a rest. Anytime now.

He really should recognize defense better.

Arky 10-06-2013 08:23 PM

Time for TJ.

barrett 10-06-2013 08:24 PM

How hard is it to break on a curl when the QB won't throw it down the field.

BigBull 10-06-2013 08:26 PM

I'm not really a Freeman fan, but I wonder if Smith is on the phone with his reps now.:o

Arky 10-06-2013 08:26 PM

The field is definitely shrinking. Can't throw deep. Every DB is jumping the out routes because they take forever to get there. Doesn't leave much.
