It has been reported that Case Keenum, Shawn Loiseau have been cut.

John Beck has been reported to have made the team.

Moran Norris has been cut.

Kubaik to have press conference at 2pm

It is rumored that Sherrick McManis has been traded to the Bears for a FB.

I kinda like McManis, but Clutts is a decent add for this team given the need at FB. Not sure anyone ever thought James Casey was going to be the fulltime guy there blowing up holes... he's too valuable moving all over the field.

Clutts can be that backup long snapper too now that Dreesen is gone I suppose.

I agree, who else can longsnap?

Jon Weeks is still on the roster, right? What about Casey and/or Daniels?

I expect probably all these guys to be given PS offers.

Cut 'em early and hope no one wants them... I believe it's a 24 hour wait before the PS offer can be extended...

That is my thinking also, and I can see them sign the 6th round tackle they cut earlier in the week to the PS also.

I knew Weeks, I was asking about the backups to him. IIRC you are correct about Casey. I was wondering if they can teach Jones how to LS. Where is Bruce Matthews when you need him here to teach our guys.:D

Presser @ 2PM. Would think the majority of the cuts/moves would be announced then, with a couple bottom of the roster churns TBD.

I can't believe the Vikings wouldn't claim Bryant after he blew up their pass protection all night last night. I sure hope Bryant makes it onto our practice squad. He, Grimes and Keenum especially.

Grimes has been released.

Holiday was not used in the offense during preseason due to wanted to get the young guys some more reps, but he will be used on offense and as a gunner.

Beck has looked better in the games then in the early practice. Beck earned his way onto the team

Harris has had an excellent camp. Roc has looked good.

Watt practice today and looked rusty but healthy

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - In need of adding a fullback to the roster, the Houston Texans traded cornerback Sherrick McManis to the Chicago Bears for Tyler Clutts.

In 2011, Clutts only season in the NFL, he played in 16 games for the Bears, starting eight.

He didn't have any carries last year, but caught eight passes for 48 yards.

Before signing as a free agent with Chicago, he spent time on the Cleveland Browns practice squad in 2010 and 2011.

Prior to that Clutts was in the CFL (2008-09), UFL (2011) and the AFL (2011).

McMannis was the Texans' fifth round pick in 2010.

He played in 23 games for Houston, nine last season with no starts.

McManis had his only career interception two years ago.

Actually, only 2 more moves due to Butler going to IR.

Also about the big plays against him last night. Remember that Wade was in base defenses looking to see what he guys can and can not do well. Well we now know that Keo is not strong in single deep safety coverage.

Or taking proper angles against the run.

Don't get it, but whatever.

Wouldn't be surprised at a little more churn at the bottom.

I'm surprised they cut Nolan. Best of luck to him.

I can only gues that special teams determined it. Or they have really started to like Demps. I thought Nolan had really turned into a pretty good player.
