Unbelievable.

Mr. Caldwell, your UP.

SR610 has learned that Texans OL Mike Brisiel broke a bone in his leg and was operated on this morning. They hope he'll return sometime during the playoffs.

unbelievable. please tell me this is a joke.

Nconroe 12-12-2011 02:01 PM

Well, at least that'll save the team ten to fifteen yards a game in false start penalties.

HPF Bob 12-12-2011 04:58 PM

I'm shocked Brisel ever became a starter. I remember when he was just backup material. Wasn't he the one that fainted one time during a preseason game or do I have him mixed up with some other wannabe?

But I will give him props that Foster and Tate often ran behind him and Winston and our QBs haven't been sacked very often so clearly he's had a good season.

This team has took a licking and kept on ticking, so I don't think this latest injury will slow us down. Cauldwell has played well in the past, so we will just keep on keepin' on.

With the release of WR Derrick Mason, it is likely that rookie Jeff Maehl will be given his chance.

You just can't make this shit up......

@MarkBermanFox26: Texans defensive coordionator Wade Phillips will take a medical leave of absence for a couple of weeks.

Nconroe 12-14-2011 09:46 AM

not only that , Wade might want to be a head coach again, lots of openings coming this off-season.

http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexans...-coaching-job/

he could take a few of our coaches with him if he goes.

sure hope his minor surgery goes well and he decides to stay here.

please stay Wade

And for sure wish the best for Wade.

NBT 12-14-2011 01:46 PM

IF he will stay we will eventually get to the SB. If he goes to S.D. as is rumored, he will get his usual playoff run, but he will lose out before he gets to the SB. He is a damn good DC coach, but he's not that cool when it comes to the offense.

Offer him a big raise and assistant HC or something. We really need you Wade!

I expect uncle Bob will do just that. He stated that Wade has been the most important aquisition of the off season, so he isn't going to let that go easily. Both he and Gary will get a nice bundle of extra cash for this season.

HPF Bob 12-14-2011 11:33 PM

If they manage to get a playoff win (they'll be at home), I think both deserve a raise.
