I couldn't agree more it is time for a change a qb plain and simple.

They've obviously checked out, why expose Foster to meaningless carries?

Dumb....

Arky 10-06-2013 10:10 PM

Wood downs the ensuing kickoff in the endzone, touchback. Texans ball at their 20.

Screen to Foster goes for 6. 2nd and 4 coming up. A Niner (Dobbs) is injured on the play. Injury timeout.

Foster for almost 4. 3rd and 1 coming up.

Foster gets loose for nice gainer. 17 yards. Ball at the Texan 46.

Yates can't find a receiver and throws it away, inc. 2nd and 10 coming up.

Pass to Posey gets 5. 3rd and 5 coming up.

Pass to OD gets 5 and the 1st down.

Foster dances for 3 or 4. 2nd and 7 coming up.

Foster sweeps left for 1. 3rd and 6 coming up.

Pass to Posey inc but flags down.... defense offsides. Makes it 3rd and 1 coming up.

Yates can't find anyone open and throws it away, inc. 4th and 1 coming up. Texans to go for it.

Yates fumbles the snap and takes a sack. Niners takeover on downs.

Nconroe 10-06-2013 10:11 PM

Our center has been snapping the ball low all night.

I am not a big Kubiak hater... I like his system...however kubiak has made it clear he is married to Shaub...so I am in full-fledged fire SHAUBIAK mode...

Their financial investment @ QB is in Schaub and they will play him this year until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
But listen, all they need to do is sweep Andy Luck and the Colts and they make up those 2 games they are down and they are right back in the drivers seat in the AFC South, right ? Just try to be positive about this, man.

If they sweep those two games and win the AFC South, all it does is get us another year of Schaub. I am at a point now where I am rooting for losses since that is the only way to guarantee change. 2-14 would suit me just fine, but I would assume that any record that misses the playoffs is enough to guarantee Schaub is done (and Kubiak if need be).

I'm sure you realized that my comment about the Texans sweeping the Colts was in the "tongue in cheek" department. Sweeping the Colts (and Andy Luck) is about as likely for the Texans as Matt Schaub hanging onto the ball on a boot and taking it down the sidelines 70 yards for a TD.
But I've changed my mind about Kubiak going all the way with Schaub until a math elimination from playoff contention this year - I could see the ole man stepping in and suggesting a change is necessary at QB just as he did when Wade was brought in as the DC.

FG kicker is also a position needing close evaluation.

HPF Bob 10-08-2013 04:48 PM

I'm still in Bullock's corner. This Horn thinks he will be okay.

I guess I got what I've been rooting for the last 3 months. I don't know why I still feel so terrible though.
