I don't know if our effort or our talent is worse. This team continues to get under a very low bar.

As a coach myself, I understand that anybody can be on the wrong end of a blowout. So I'm not too concerned about a blowout. I'm more concerned about the lack of adjustments from week to week and the lack of development by our young talent.
Plain and simple Romeo needs to be handed his walking papers and the offensive coordinator needs to lose his playcalling duties. Neither has shown any ability to get better... |
Breast cancer? Is that a problem? Geez, I wasn't aware.....

Hearing the announcers remind everyone that we're still only 1 game back of the Colts is a sad truth of the South.
7 wins could get you a home playoff pummeling. |

I do believe that he does not always let us in on the inner workings of the team. Yes, he (or whomever REALLY had the last say so on our QB debacle) should take some blame. However, this team has been WAY worse than Hoyer. These coordinators get off the hook way too often. |
The ensuing kickoff is a touchback.
------------------------------------------ Dolphin's ball at their 20. Screen to Williams goes for 8. Screen to 80? gets sniffed out. Loss of 3. On 3rd and 5, Willams gets about 7 but holding on the Dolphins backs it up 10. Replay 3rd down. 3rd and 13 coming up. And I cannot imagine why anybody would think he did not have all the say on the QB position. He personally acquired former players and declared them his guys. Then he juggled them every time they played like the terrible QBs they are. You can let responsibility for this debacle of a franchise run up hill from O'Brien since Smith works with BOB on personnel and McNair hired them both, but it is dumb to make scape goats of the coordinators. |

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that Bill doesn't deserve SOME of the blame. But to blame him for it ALL is foolish and ignorant. He doesn't call any plays and he's not on the field. If anything he needs to hold somebody accountable and make some adjustments... But yes coordinators should be held accounts as well...they are not exempt |
No one is blaming BOB for ALL of the team's problems, just pointing out that he is in fact the head coach.

This is O'Brien's team. (Just like O'Brien is the one with Arian Foster pointlessly on the field to get hurt at the end of a blowout loss as I type). |
The ensuing kickoff is a touchback.
--------------------------------------- Texan's ball at their 20. Pass to Washington gets 22. Flags presnap....offsides Dolphins makes it 1st and 5. Hoyer's pass is batted down, inc. Blue for 2. 3rd and 3 coming up. Timeout Texans. Pass to Hop gets about 8 and the 1st down. Pass to Foster is dropped. 2nd and 10 coming up. Foster rushes for about 11 and the 1st down. Under 6 minutes left in the game. Pass to Mumph gets 16, offsides Dolphins is declined. Ball at the Dolphin 18. Foster for 5. Pass over the middle towards Washington sails inc. 3rd and 5 coming up. Pass to Hop gets the 1st down at the Dolphin 5. 1st and goal. Pass to Washington is not handled, inc. Foster injured on the play.... Just freaking great. |

Pass to Jennings goes to the 10 yard line, 1st down. 2 minute warning. ------------------------------------------ Dolphins kneeling it out. Final score: Dolphins 44, Texans 26 |
My last name is not O'Brien, and I could give 2 shits of a damn about him. And I am not going to sit here and defend the man...LOL.
I am just pointing out that for those of us who are one track minded, this blowout, this team, is where it is because of a lot more than him...it's easy and lazy to put all the blame on one person. As long as we continue to do so we'll be in this situation... |
Absolutely disgusting. The Dolphins are a shit team. To get embarrassed by a shit team should be a wake up call. But as long as eighty thousand necks show up every other week McSenile will keep laughing.
Just how bad will it get before people wake up? |
And yes that was a pretty dumb move to leave Foster in knowing his history of injuries. But that was a pretty freak ass injury. No one even touched him.

Lets not forget Rick Smith. If I were McNair, I would look over to him and say "You're fired"!!!

Also, it makes no difference what any of us do, we'll still be in this situation. |
It's the nature of Houston sports (save for a couple of Rocket championships) for as long as I can remember and that goes back to the early 60's.....
Today was a golden opportunity to make something of the season, gain ground on the Colts (who lost) and turn this thing around. What do the Texans do? They fall flat on their faces.....not a close game loss, not a competitive loss, just a complete no-fight 1st round knockout... |

Amazing, but we are still only a game out of first place - yep the Colts lost again today. |
The AFC South is a complete joke. That's all I can say.
|
I guess plenty blame all around, but whoever was main force behind getting these two QB this year deserves most of blame for my vote.
But I will be back every week. |
