Seems reasonably good DB who tackles well, and a need.

Roy P 04-26-2013 07:55 PM

I was sort of hoping for Philip Thomas, Bacarri Rambo, or Shaun williams, or even Josh evans at FS. Can't believe Armstead is still available. Not happy TE Kelce & CB Gratz & LB moore are now gone.

popanot 04-26-2013 07:58 PM

Swearinger should help our STs immensely. He'll get plenty of field time, that's for sure.

Blitzwood 04-26-2013 08:05 PM

I hope Mathieu does well, good place for him with his old teammate

HPF Bob 04-26-2013 08:06 PM

Cardinals took Minter. Now they take Honey Badger. Good luck with that. The one team that probably least needs a kick returner.

Don't plan on PP returning kicks for long if he's their #1 CB. Mathieu should start as the slot corner.

HPF Bob 04-26-2013 08:34 PM

Marquise Goodwin to the Bills. Told ya he would be gone by the end of the third round. They're giving Manuel some weapons up there.

CBS Sports tweeting that Mathieu agreed to *weekly* drug testing as a condition to being drafted and signed.

His Whizzinator's going to get a workout.

HPF Bob 04-26-2013 08:41 PM

Giants took Moore. Saints took Jenkins.

Nconroe 04-26-2013 08:42 PM

Coming up on pick 89 pretty soon. Wondering who it could be , perhaps ILB?

He's gonna have to grow up, or else....

Good call on Goodwin, though Wheaton was better value there, imo.

Could a QB like Nassib be in the mix for us?

J. Williams is STILL there.

chuck 04-26-2013 08:49 PM

This constant military glorification is a bit heavy handed.

Yeah, I think the Bengals just drafted three Navy Seals.

Oh, well. I'd rather see this than a whole round of breast cancer survivors while everyone on stage wears hot pink.

Roy P 04-26-2013 08:51 PM

My top guys...DaRick Rogers, Ryan Swope, Cornelius Washington, Brandon williams, David Bakhtiari, Corey Lemonier, Quinton Patton, Zaviar Gooden, David quessenberry, Jordan Poyer

HPF Bob 04-26-2013 08:53 PM

Jets just picked up RB Ivory in a trade with the Saints.

That's another thing - a whole month for the breast cancer awareness? Come on, man. A week seems fine.

popanot 04-26-2013 08:56 PM

Just got jumped in front of again and SF takes Lemonier! WTF?!! GB is screwing us with these trades!!

Blitzwood 04-26-2013 08:57 PM

We're on the clock, where we going?

Williams, Lemonier and D. Rogers are all good value here, Brandon Jenkins would be my pick here, Nassib ?

chuck 04-26-2013 09:02 PM

I like this draft. If Kubes were as unpredictable on offense as Rick is in the war room we'd really be onto something.

Warren 04-26-2013 09:04 PM

Big RT who competes hard and has a "quirky, artsy" personality. Has had injury issues.

They're definitely hitting on areas of need. Just hope these guys can play.

Blitzwood 04-26-2013 09:07 PM

I counted 25 in the war room, not including McNair, wow.

I like the pick, helped block for Giovani for a monster season, gotta beleive he'll get the nod over Newton but should be interesting to watch.

95 next.

Gotta be LB or DL.

HPF Bob 04-26-2013 09:08 PM

We still have the Mario pick. I would love it if we grabbed Swope.

Nconroe 04-26-2013 09:10 PM

Brennan William is 6'6", 318 lbs, athletic, 34 inch arms, 28 inch vertical jump, was injured is one reason he dropped, little bit of a project but pretty good. I'm surprised but good pick and area of need for sure. Our Oline is getting bigger with these young athletic guys.

popanot 04-26-2013 09:13 PM

GB just traded again. Wish NFL channel would show what they're receiving. Bunch of late picks or 2014 picks??

Blitzwood 04-26-2013 09:18 PM

Im have Khaseem Greene, Reddick, Jenkins, Nasib, John Simon.

Could we end Jesse Williams slide?

Wonder whats making him slide.

Roy P 04-26-2013 09:19 PM

I would like OLB Cornelius Washington just b/c there are not any other prospects other than Ty Powell or Mike Catapano to replace Barwin at OLB.

Roy P 04-26-2013 09:22 PM

I thought we got NT Brandon Williams from Missouri southern. But the Ravens did. :(

Nconroe 04-26-2013 09:23 PM

Advertisement, I'm hoping for Jesse Williams, now. but its Sam Montgomery DE, LSU. gets sacks. We are taking lots of Jrs.

chuck 04-26-2013 09:25 PM

I wonder what the hell is wrong with Montgomery.

Okay, I'm confused: Sam Montgomery? I sort of thought we might go with Devin Taylor later on, he's even from South Carolina. Can't believe Ryan Swope is still available, who I rated higher than Hopkins....I would have taken Bakhtiari from colorado instead of Brennen Williams. Makes me wonder if we might give me Zaviar Gooden tomorrow or maybe a CB like Poyer or Webb

Warren 04-26-2013 09:32 PM

According to Mayock he turned a lot of teams off in interviews.

Roy P 04-26-2013 09:33 PM

If Montgomery plays up to his potential we can kiss Antione Smith buh-bye next year.

"They weren't sure he was focused on football." I know that gives a lot of insight.

Herring did his presser, Montgomery will be a 3rd OLB next season.
