Bush said that Cody is quick enough that he can create some push inside in the pass rush, but he’s also stout enough sit down in the middle and handle the running game. Cody plays more 3-technique than nose tackle but, according to Bush, can fulfill both roles inside.

Bolding is mine. It will be interesting to see how this works out since there is something of a logjam now at DT with Amobi, Travis, Deljuan, and the "hope of Okam". Not to mention any possibility of a rookie or Antonio Smith moving inside on passing downs. |
