The way I see it, Wade Philips is the favorite, but don't rule out John Fox, Marvin Lewis, Mike Singletary or (god forbid) Eric Mangini.

Looks like we can scratch Marvin Lewis off the list.....PFT is reporting that he is staying in Cincy :(

Well.....apparently, the meeting with Cincy and Lewis didn't end up going so well after all....he could end up on the market, and I would HOPE he would get some serious consideration.

From Schefter:
@AdamSchefter: Lewis left the Bengals complex when the two sides could not agree on franchise's direction and his future there is in serious jeopardy.

And now Lewis is out again.......bummer.

@AdamSchefter: And...Bengals re-signed Marvin Lewis as head coach.

We've gotta get a fire breathing, blood & guts type of coach somewhere, so it might as well be the defensive coordinator. I like Wade, but he don't fill the bill.

ABC is reporting the Texans will hire Wade Phillips as Defensive Coordinator.
